Ministerial round-table to discuss declining markets and climate challenges

Abstract

The African Union Commission (AUC) and the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) will hold a ministerial round-table on the theme “Addressing the Impact of Drought, Floods and Declining Commodity Prices in Africa”, in Addis Ababa as part of the Africa Development Week 2016. According to the organizers, ministers and experts will examine economic and financial management challenges arising in Africa. Discussions will focus mainly on agricultural production as this sector is currently affected by declining commodity prices and an increase in floods and droughts across the continent.
