Abstract
since the adoption of the Poverty Reduction strategy Papers (PRsPs), a total of 60 countries from all over the world have been pursuing the strategy in an effort to combat poverty. some of the countries are now in the process of reviewing past experiences and embarking on the second generation of PRsPs. these include Burkina Faso, ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique tanzania and, in the case of Uganda, third-generation PRsPs.
