Report of the group of high-level experts on the comprehensive new programme of action for the least developed countries
Abstract
The present report by the Group of High-level Experts on the Comprehensive new programme of action has been prepared in pursuance of Trade and Development Board resolution 171 (XVIII), paragraph 4 and conference resolution 122 (V), paragraph 11(a) and (b). the substantial new programme of action for the 1980s for the least developed countries has been agreed in broad outline in UNCTAD resolution 122(V). it would be desirable for the strategy itself to contain a more precise indication of the special goals and objectives to be reached in respect of the least developed countries and of the more precise commitments to be undertaken.
