ECA Signs agreement with University of Cape Town to promote Africa's development agenda

The Executive Secretary of ECA, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, South Africa signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU, which is a culmination of about two years of discussion and negotiation, seeks to deepen the relationship between the two institutions in support of Africa's development agenda. Areas of cooperation contained in the MOU include the production and publication of a joint journal - The African Journal of Development Alternatives; internship and fellowship programs; joint research, workshops and conferences; training and capacity development for young Africans, and exchange programs by the two institutions.
