Apercu des programmes et des opérations de lutte contre la sécheresse et la désertification en Afrique
Abstract
La période 1966-1973 est désormais considérée comme la période où monde a pris conscience de la gravité des problèmes posés par la sécheresse et la désertification en l’Afrique. En effet, ces cinq années de sécheresse implacable ont sensibilisé la communauté internationale. Les pays qui en ont la plus souffert sont les pays sahéliens suivants-: Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritanie, Niger, - Sénégal et Tchad.
