This report covers the main activities implemented since the second meeting of the Committee on Development Information, Science and Technology (CODIST-II). The report focuses on ECA science and technology programme which aims at developing the capacity of member States to formulate and implement appropriate gender-sensitive science, technology and innovation
policies and programmes to achieve sustainable socio-economic development. Activities reported include technical and advisory support for science, technology and innovation (STI) policy formulation, knowledge sharing and networking, business development services, among others, at national, sub-regional and regional level.
