Report on a mission to the republic of Uganda(30 November -2 December 1979)

Abstract

The mission was undertaken at the request of the Uganda government within following terms of reference: a)to assess the state of preparedness for the population census enumeration expected to be conducted on January 18,1980.b)to determine the assistance required for the proposed census. The census project was initially being partly funded by the UNFPA but as a result of the war which resulted in the loss of several project equipment the UNFPA suspended any further inputs to the project.
