1974 housing and population census of Liberia: report of the mapping requirements

Abstract

The mission was organized at a short notice following a request made by Mr. C. Campaigne, United Nations resident representative in Liberia and the Liberian authorities responsible for the organization of the 1974 Housing and Population Census. The main objectives of the mission was to look into the cartographic needs for the forthcoming census, to make an inventory of all available and adequate cartographic material and to advise on the requirements for the proper functioning of the section in charge of the census mapping.
