Report on a mission to Swaziland

Abstract

The current mission was the first follow up of the training mission. The mission worked both individually and also held meetings of the analysts in groups. The first such meeting was held at the University of Swaziland on 20th February with three of the analysts from the University who were among themselves preparing four chapters of the analytical report (Nuptiality and fertility; migration and urbanization; international migration and Swazi citizens abroad and Households and housing). The second meeting was held on 26 Feb at the statistics Office with six of the analysts participating. This meeting reviewed the work done on five chapters- Fertility, education, economic activity, evaluation and adjustment of data and population composition and characteristics.
