Report on a mission to Mozambique (19 January -4 February 1993)

Abstract

This report relates to a mission undertaken by Mr. O. J. Onsembe, ECA Regional Adviser in Sampling, from 19th January to 4th February 1993, at the request of the Government of Mozambique. Mozambique undertook its first post-independence population census in August 1980. For some areas census maps were not available and enumeration was conducted at defined administrative centers where the population was assembled.
