Abstract
The Education Staff Training Development Programme as announced by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in document E/ECA/HRP/MFC/83/4 was first hosted by the Ministry of General Education and Culture and the Ministry of Higher Education Zambia, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The programme designed for the implementation of the projects on “The Re-orientation of Education to the socio-economic Development of the African Region” focused attention on educational planning and Administration as areas of immediate concern to the Republic of Zambia.
