Abstract

The joint ECA/ICIPR project on “reduction of food losses through insect pest management and use of small-scale and low -cost farm equipment” was initiated in1986 with the financial support of the government of Belgium. Its overall objective is to assist small scale farmers in increasing their food production by a drastic reduction of food losses caused by insect pests. the immediate objectives are to demonstrate that the project.
