Report on a mission to Yaoundé (Cameroon ) (3-14 July 1979): Household survey on income expenditure and consumption

Abstract

The present mission was organized to review the situation on the spot and to look into some of the outstanding technical issues. Indications were available from the NHSCP consultative meeting held in New York on 21 June 1979 that the West German Government was prepared to consider providing financial assistance for the project. It was therefore necessary in consultation with the department of statistics to examine the survey design and explore the possibilities of bringing down the cost of the survey.
