Dans ce bref document, on s'est efforcé de donner les grandes lignes des applications des actes et des statistiques de l'état civil non seulement dans la situation actuelle du développement de l'enregistrement de l'état civil en Afrique, mais aussi dans les conditions d'un system total et complet à atteindre dans tous les pays africains enfin compte. D'après cette esquisse, il est évident que les systems d'enregistrement de l'état civil se prête à des usages importants en dehors des déductions qu'il permet des statistiques de l'état civil.
