The African women conference on women wind up

Abstract

The 51 page document was adopted after slight amendments were made by some delegate to the conference, including ministers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and technocrats. At the closing ceremony the head of the Chinese delegation to the conference, Mr Cang Youheng praised the efforts of the organizers for ensuring a successful end. He hoped that the platform would serve as a focus of peace, equality and development, while its implementation would start without delay.
