Abstract

This volume constitutes part of "Statistical Yearbook" which now replaces the "Statistical Bulletin for Africa". Tables provide data on population, labor force, "education, health and the price index. The data was taken mainly from several statistical yearbooks. The sources and notes for each table are given at the end of this volume. The definitions and calculation methods are those given by the United Nations yearbooks.
