Abstract
A group of experts to review the background paper on the new strategic directions for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa(ECA) begun in Addis Ababa. The strategic focus is basically set up five program directions as follows: facilitating economic and social policy analysis and implementation; ensuring food security and sustainable development; strengthening development management; harnessing information for development; promoting regional cooperation.
