Meeting of the technical committee of the experts on trade, regional cooperation, integration and tourism opened today at Africa Hall

Abstract

The present press release was a week long meeting of experts on Trade, Regional cooperation, Integration and Tourism was opened at Africa Hall (ECA Headquarters) today by Mr. Kassahun Ayele, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Dr. K.Y. Amoako, united Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the Economic commission for Africa (ECA). Concerning the regional economic integration, Dr. Arnoako underlined that ECA's approach in this field aims at bringing collective economic transformation through the building of strong and well-articulated network of infrastructures, promoting stronger production systems and liberalizing trade through removal of barriers between African countries.
