Résumé
The Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali's statement, delivered live via satellite from Geneva, at the launching of the United Nations System-Wide Special Initiative on Africa, on 15 March 1996. Each United Nations organization will have a key contribution to make in its particular area of competence and expert’s. In this context, I see the initiative as a new milestone in the ongoing effort to strengthen collaboration between the United Nations and the Bretton Woods institutions, and other organizations of the system.
