The Project is financed by the Netherlands Government and ECA through the Joint ECA/FAO Agriculture Division (JEFAD), has been assisting the Executing Agency of the Government of Mozambique (the National Agricultural Research Institute) in the implementation of the field activities related to the Application of Research for the Development of Maize Production in accordance with the Programme of Work of the Division for the biennium 1988/89 (Programme Element 2.2, operational activities.
