The Sub-council on foreign affairs of the transitional executive council of South Africa visit to UNECA

Abstract

The sub council on foreign affairs of the transitional executive council of South Africa made a working visit to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. the delegation which was composed of ten members was received by Mr. Samba Jack, officer in charge of the Commission heading a group of experts from different substantive divisions of the commission. In his welcoming address, Mr. Samba Jack Enlightening the delegation further on the activities of UNECA on South Africa, the Co-coordinator of the ECA Multidisciplinary Regional Advisory Group (MRAG) where the Southern Africa Desk and Task Force are located, said that UNECA has focused special attention on development of strategies for meeting the daunting challenges in South Africa.
