A High-Level Symposium on Regional Integration will be held under the theme; The Role of the Civil Society in Deepening Africa's Integration Agenda; to reflect on Africa’s on-going initiatives on regional integration at both the continental and sub regional levels. According to ECA’s Information and Communication Service, the symposium has the objective to identify the nature and scope of the role of civil society and all relevant actors such as women, the youth and the private sector in the design and implementation of these initiatives.
