The press release presents a remarks which is made by the minister on Tuesday 15 April, while opening a three-day regional consultative workshop on land policies in West Africa taking place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The minister also informed the workshop that Burkina Faso initiated its own process of agrarian reform in 2003 to identify medium and long-term solutions to land policy challenges in the country. “The Government of Burkina Faso has made it a priority to solve land policy issues, which is why it is very interested in this initiative,” the minister said.
