ECCAS, CEMAC, UN System gear up to review progress on NEPAD in Central Africa

Agencies of the UN System and the Regional Economic Communities (RECs) of Central Africa are expected to review progress of and gear up towards boosting the AU’s NEPAD programme in the sub-region during a multi-stakeholder meeting billed for Okoume Palace hotel in Libreville on 17 October 2012. The encounter, convened by the Sub-Regional Office for Central Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA/SRO-CA), will be the fourth follow-up meeting of the Sub Regional Coordination Mechanism of the UN System-wide support to the AU’s NEPAD programme in the sub region.
