Abstract
The 14th Session of RCM-Africa is tentatively scheduled for 21-22 November 2013 at the UN Conference Centre (UNCC), in Addis Ababa, on the theme: “Agenda 2063". The choice of the theme is aimed at guiding UN system support to this Africa-owned Agenda. “Agenda 2063” responds to a long term 50 year development plan. It highlights the importance of: Having a long term framework that is broken down into 5 years; Linking to other long term plans across sectors, including the AU 5 year strategic plan; Having a long term strategy looking at trends and implications for the multifaceted programmes that Africa has to come up with.
