North African economist analyze structural and institutional transformations needed for the development of the economies of the region

Abstract

The ECA Office for North Africa held the seventh edition of the International Colloquium on the Mediterranean 14, 15 and 16 November 2013 in the premises of the Mohammed V University in Rabat on the theme "Development, and structural and institutional transformations of the North African and Mediterranean economies". The Colloquium is a joint initiative of ECA, the African Trade Policy Center and the World Trade Organization (WTO). This year’s edition is the result of cooperation between the three institutions, the WTO Chair of the University Mohammed V - Souissi (Rabat) and the Laboratory of Applied Economics Development (LEAD) at the University of Toulon.
