Abstract

The 1983 African Statistical Yearbook, the eleventh issue, is the fourth computer-based edition prepared by the ECA Statistics division. As in the previous editions, the Yearbook is published in four parts, with the following sub-regional arrangements: Part 1- North Africa Part 2- West Africa Part 3- Eastern and Southern Africa Part 4- Central Africa and others in Africa. This volume which constitutes the fourth part of this edition covers the ten countries in Central Africa and two others in Africa.
