This statement delivered by K. Y. Amoako UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary, ECA at the Eighteenth Meeting of the Technical Preparatory Committee of the Whole (TEPCOW). Mr. Amoako, on his remarks highlighted that, Investment and trade hold the key to accelerating development, ensuring rapid progress towards the elimination of abject poverty, raising average household incomes, and sustaining a higher rate of economic growth for this continent.
