Interrelationships among infant and childhood mortality socio-economic factors and fertility in Zambia : a case study of Lusaka and Keembe

Abstract

This survey afforded ECA and CSO, Lusaka to experiment on methodology for collecting data through surveys on such subjects as marriage, fertility,breast-feeding, postpartum abstinence and amenorrhaea. The women's perceptions about the availability and use of medical services and practice of birth regulation.Discussions on'these topics and their relationships to fertility and infant and childhood mortality are presented in these papers.
