The African Training and Research Centre for Women (ATRCW) held its Ad-Hoc Expert Group Meeting to consider strategies for enhancement of women's skills in main streaming and decision-making in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 6 to 10 December 1993, The meeting was well attended by selected Women in Development (WID) and women media experts from Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Lesotho, Sudan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, Guinea and Somalia. The following non-governmental organization also participated in the meeting, namely: African Women Development and Communication Network (FEMNET).
