Statement by Mr. Abdoulie Janneh at the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP Group) Symposium on: Regional Integration and Good Governance. Mr. Janneh outlined on his remarks that, regional integration is one of the two pillars of ECA’s work, the other being helping Africa to meet its special needs. Improving governance conditions in Africa is certainly one of the continent’s priorities if the provisions of the AU Charter and its NEPAD programme are anything to go by.
