Review of support to statistical capacity building in Sub-saharan Africa - from reporting to collaboration : draft

Abstract

For the pilot light reporting exercise on development partners' support to statistical capacity building (SCB) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), the PARIS21 Secretariat requested 56 partners to provide information on their statistical activities that were active during 2004-05. The responses received from partners represent an inventory of existing activities in support of statistical capacity building and an estimate of total commitment value for these activities. Key results, based on the responses of 51 partners.
