Report of the mission to Republic of Botswana

Abstract

The mission was jointly undertaken by Vijay Verma technical adviser United Nations Statistical office and A.C Base ILO/ECA household survey specialist the main purpose of the mission was to review the progress and development in regards to continuous household integrated programme of survey(CHIPS) of Botswana which was formulated about a year back under the auspices of the United Nations National Household survey capability programme (NHSCP).during the mission discussions were held with the central statistics office and the ministry of finance of the government of the republic of Botswana and also with local representatives of several multinational and bilateral agencies viz, UNDP,UNICEF,UNFPA,USAID,ODA,NORAD and SIDA.
