The United Republic of Tanzania: report on implementation of ECA resolution 535(XX) - women and development in Africa
Abstract
Success in implementation of ECA Resolution 535(xx)-women and development in Africa, which entails both promotion of women’s development and participation in development depend on two major factors. First economic social and political development secondly deliberate measures taken by the government to bring about legal institutional constitutional and other policy changes in favor of women in order to restore their rights which they have been denied for a long time.
