Abstract
The fifth meeting of the sub regional development committee was held in BATA, Equatorial Guinea, from 17 to 20 March 1987, under the chairmanship of the Vice-Minister of Labor, social Insurance and the Promotion of Women Her Excellency Angue Ondo Purification. The MULPOC progress report on the women’s programme drawn up by the coordinator showed that the actions undertaken dealt mainly with training and research and participation in MULPOC and ECA statutory meetings. The coordinator took part in the UNDP fourth cycle programming exercises in four countries, in accordance with the mandate given by the council of ministers which met in Bangui in February 1986.
