The Inaugural Meeting of the Sub regional Committee on the Integration of Women in Development for the North Africa MULPOC was held from 10-12 March 1981 at Africa Hall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The main purpose of the meeting was to establish formally the sub regional committee on the Integration of women in Development and elect its Bureau. The purposes of the meeting were (a) to review the approved work programme and priorities of the North Africa MULPOC with a view to proposing how women’s activities could be incorporated into it; (b) to review the projects planned by the ATRCW for implementation in the sub region.
