The mentioned resolutions of Nouakchott and the Conference paper on the Structure and Terms of Reference of the Africa Regional Coordinating Committee for the Integration of Women in Development, which is an integral part of the Conference Report, spell out in detail the specific objectives of the Regional and Sub-regional machinery. The machinery adopted by the Conference are intended to assure women's recognition and involvement in all development plans and projects from grass-root level through national, sub-regional and regional levels, as well as through a communications and planning network which is integrated with the Governmental and ECA structures at these various levels.
