Abstract

The developed countries were urged to take a more sympathetic view of the problems of African development. It was to be hoped that that plea would be heeded, but Africans must be prepared for the worst and put themselves in the/position that, if the attitude, of the developed countries remained unchanged, they would be able, to ensure their own development.
