The purpose of this paper is to present a brief account of higher management education and training programmes in the Sudan. Higher management education and training is taken to mean university and post-university level type of programmes for the preparation of senior managerial personnel. The paper is divided into three sections. Section I (general situation) gives a brief outline of general managerial constraints in personnel resources of public and private sectors, and the degree of awareness about these constraints. Section II (particular situation), describes the institutional and programme facilities created to provide for higher management education and training. Section III, some general conclusions about higher management education and training institutions are made.
