This paper presents a brief review of activities, both on-going and planned, for implementation in the Lusaka MULPOC subregion in the next two years by the ECA African Training and Research Centre for Women (ATRCW). It also examines the current work programme of priorities of the MULPOC and proposes some strategies for integrating women's components in this programme. It finally suggests additional activities for accelerating the participation of women in measures designed for the elimination of absolute poverty.
