The Fourth meeting of the subregional committee on Women in Development of the Lusaka-MULPOC subregion was from 25 February to 1st March 1985. The objectives of the Fourth meeting of the Subregion Committee were: to review the progress made and obstacles encountered in implementing the Lusaka MULPOC programme of Work for the Integration of Women in Development as recommended by the Third Meeting of the subregional Committee, held in Mbabane, Swaziland 15- 19 March 1983; to consider the 1985/86 work programme for submission to the council of Ministers of the Lusaka-based MULPOC and to consider proposals and priorities to be submitted by member states as a basis for immediate future strategies on WID.
