The third Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs, held at Addis Ababa From 8-10 October 1980 will consider the conclusions of the meeting of experts on specific topics, constituting new aspects of ATRCW programmes. This seminar is intended to bring together women responsible for national machineries in ·order to analyze the national structures established by various States to guarantee·. greater participation by women in the development of their country. The objective of this meeting of experts was to provide planners, trainers and community development agents responsible for programmes for out-of-school girls to study the situation of young girls in general, to analyze the various programmes being implemented and to develop a concrete programme of action for future.
