The Second meeting of the Sub regional Committee on the Integration of women in Development, held in Maseru, the "Kingdom of Lesotho, from 11 to 14 December 1980, received priorities of member States which would provide a basis for drawing up a program of work for the sub region for. The period 1982-1983. In addition, the sub regional Committee approved the work program for 1981 which was adopted by the Third Council of ministers for Lusaka-based ''MULP0C, held in Maseru, the Kingdom of Lesotho, from l9 to 22 January 1981. The adopted 1981 Work Program included:- Sub regional Seminar for development planners; A National workshop on food preservation, storage and appropriate technologies; workshop or study tour for women leaders from Francophone in member States of the sub regional; Sub regional workshop on fuel wood and energy development for rural/grassroots women.
