Abstract

This is the thirteenth volume in the Devindex Africa series prepared and issued by PADIS, the Pan-African Documentation and Information System, created by the ECA, January 1980, with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and ADB, and for mally inaugurated in January 1981.This present volume of Devindex Africa 1985 (volume 13) contains references to documents dealing with economic and social development issues in Africa. The documents were selected from the UNECA Library collection of African government publications and from journals published by learned societies and professional associations. Some of the literature indexed here is of the unconventional or "fugitive" type, often very difficult to locate.
