Draft legal framework incorporating the Yamoussoukro declaration on a new African air transport policy and its methods of implementation and draft model agreement between two or more African states for the establishment of multinational airlines

Abstract

The Report of the meeting of African Ministers responsible for Civil Aviation held in Grand Bay, Mauritius on September 1994, in its Annex I, exploring the solutions for achieving the implementation of the Yamoussoukro Declaration, stated in paragraph that legal framework is to be prepared for the reformulation of the Declaration into an agreement to be ratified by the African States. The Declaration entrusted ECA, working in cooperation with subregional, regional and international organizations, with the responsibility for following up this activity.
