The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, as part of its programme of promoting the development and utilization of human resource , has planned to issue this now series of Occasional report on education and training for development with a view of disseminating to its member States information on income of the new ideas that are ideas that are being tried out in Africa and elsewhere to brine in-school and out of school education close to the realities of the environment , and of production and. employment requirements. Through these occasional report it is hoped to encourage a broader, functional concept of education and build up a repertoire of promising new approaches to the task of preparing men to cope with their environments and transform their societies
