Women : partners in African development

Abstract

This editorial presents crisis of drought and famine in more than half of the countries of the African continent underlines the importance of the subject matter of this issue of Rural progress- rural women in Africa. The crisis is striking the rural areas and hitting particularly hard rural women and their families.
