ECA tenth anniversary exhibition on small-scale industries

Abstract

The Exhibition on Small -Scale Industries has been organized as one of the major even t s in the celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa . It is intended, by the Exhibition , to focus attention on the importance and significance of small-scale industries to the economies of African countries ; to show example s of what individual African and other countries, with 100f investment costs, have achieved in the development and promotion of small-scale industrial enterprises; and thereby, to encourage and enthuse African entrepreneurship.
