In commemoration of tis Twenty-Fifth anniversary in April 1983 the Economic Commission for African inaugurated a Jubilee lecture series to be given annually the main purpose of these Jubilee lectures is tot provide an occasion for distinguished world personalities whose preoccupation with African and third world development problem have been demonstrated over the year to share their thoughts and experiences with us during the annual session of the ECA conference of ministers of economic planning development.
