Abstract

Opening address delivered by Prof. Adebayo Adedeji, Executive secretary of the Commission. The speech focuses on African experts from the Governments of member state have been meeting together here in Arusha to discuss questions related to the establishment of the African Regional Centre for the Transfer, Adaptation and Development of Technology and the preparation for the 1979 world Conference on Science and Technology for development.
